Mapua enters THE World University Impact Rankings

Mapúa University, the Philippines’ premier engineering and technological school, has entered the global Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2020. The THE Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The University placed 601+ in the overall out of 766 participating institutions worldwide. 

Mapúa has been ranked in SDG 6-Clean Water and Sanitation (Rank 101-200), SDG 7-Affordable and Clean Energy (Rank 201-300), SDG 8–Decent Work and Economic Growth (Rank 401+), SDG 12-Responsible Consumption and Production (Rank 301+), and lastly, for the second time in a row, SDG 17–Partnership for the Goals (Rank 601+).

Mapúans awarded best research presentation in the 2020 ICETEST in Bangkok

Three Construction Engineering and Management students of Mapua University -School of Civil, Environmental, and Geological Engineering garnered 'Best Research Paper Presentation' award in the recently concluded 4th International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering, Science and Technologies (ICETEST-2020).

Kimberly L. Quintana, Gezelle M. Cangco and John Oliver S. Manaois, under the tutelage of their advisers ASEAN Engineer Dr. Dante L. Silva and Associate Dean Engr. Bernard S. Villaverde, staged the international podium last Feb 26-27 in Bangkok, Thailand.

ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award 2019

Congratulations to USHER Technologies Inc. and the School of Civil, Environmental and Geological Engineering for developing the USHER System and receiving the 2019 ASEAN Engineering Achievement Award, a recognitiong given by the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organization (AFEO) last September 14, 2019 during the 37th Conference of Asean Federation of Engineering Organization (CAFEO37) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
