Thesis Paper on "Prediction of Tensile Strength and Erosional Effectiveness of Natural Geotextiles Using Artificial Neural Network" Indexed by Ei Compendex & Scopus
We would like to congratulate our BSCE students, Daelson V. Mangrobang, Mareshah D. Escalante, and Nicole Anne M. Susi, together with their adviser Dr. Dante L. Silva, their Thesis Paper “Prediction of Tensile Strength and Erosional Effectiveness of Natural Geotextiles Using Artificial Neural Network” which was presented in the 13th International Conference on Computer and Automation Engineering (ICCAE 2021) has been successfully indexed by Ei Compendex & Scopus.
The research aimed to design an Artificial Neural Network-based model for predicting tensile strength, runoff reduction effectiveness (RRE), and sediment yield reduction effectiveness (SYRE) of abaca, coconut, and water hyacinth blend geotextiles, in support of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals to build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation.
