Dr. Dante L. Silva bags Excellent Paper Award in ICMESS 2020 Barcelona, Spain

Hurrah for our very own Dr. Dante L. Silva for bagging the 'EXCELLENT PAPER AWARD' in the 3rd International Conference on Computing and Big Data 2020. Last month, 3 students under his tutelage received the 'Excellent Paper, Best Presentation, and Best Content Award' in the 708th International Conference on Management, Economics & Social Science - ICMESS 2020 held in Barcelona, Spain.

The annual event features innovative developments in Big Data Analytics and Cloud Computing, participated by a number of professors and researchers in universities in USA, Canada, Sweden, Portugal, UK, China, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Egypt, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore, with a total number of 63 technical papers.

Doc Silva presented a research on how a Backpropagation Neural Network pothole model can be used to predict the percentage occurrence of pothole in a flexible pavement. He also discussed his investigation on the relative sensitivity importance of the traffic and climate which are the associated factors.
