Hydraulics Laboratory

Located at the Ground Floor of the South Building at S101 is the Hydraulics Laboratory which is a miniaturized laboratory that contains the laboratory equipment and apparatus needed for the water resources subjects particularly the Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics subjects. Equipment and apparatus include Bernoulli’s Apparatus, Flow Through an Orifice Apparatus, Tilting Flume (for Weir Calibration, Series/Parallel Pumps Test apparatus, Osborne Reynolds Apparatus, Energy Losses in Bends, Pelton Turbine Demonstration Equipment, Free and Forced Vortices, Flow Visualization Channel Apparatus, Orifice and Free Jet Flow Apparatus, Hydraulics Bench, Viscometer, among others.
