Mapua hosts delegates from Chinese Taipei, holds research colloquium

Mapúa University’s School of Civil, Environmental, and Geological Engineering (CEGE) hosted delegates from Chinese Taipei last June 13.

The delegates, along with faculty members of CEGE, held a research colloquium on Water Resources and discussed research projects being undertaken at Mapúa such as the Mapúa Phil-LiDAR 1, the Automated Real-time Monitoring System (ARMS) for Ambuklao, Binga, and San Roque Dam, and the SMART Bridge project.

The delegates, on the other hand, discussed projects on hydrologic analysis for flood prevention, reservoir renovation, and effective dam assessment using engineering geophysics.
